Included with RememBird

RememBird comes with a PC/Mac application known as the "RememBird Song and Notes Organiser". The tabs below give more details of this powerful tool. Note that this software and the accompanying manual are available in several languages in addition to English:

Free Download
You are welcome to download and run the software even if you haven't yet bought or decided to buy a RememBird. Although you won't be able to upload any recordings until you buy a RememBird, you can see the available functionality and browse the manual.

Access your Recordings

As you upload your timestamped recordings to your computer, you specify where the recordings were made. You can then access your recordings via the calendar or by location.

Annotate your Recordings

You can enter details about each "visit" and about each recording. If you label a record with a particular species, you can then search your recordings by species as well.

Share your Recordings

You can export any one, or a whole set of recordings as "mp3" or "wav" files for others to review or to accompany submissions of your sightings.

Look up a bird's call

While RememBird is connected to your computer, you can access recordings in its audio field-guide(s) and play them through your sound card.

Make your own Audio Field-guide

A "wizard" guides you through the steps needed to build and download your own audio field-guide to RememBird.

Birds of the Western Palearctic (BWPi)

The application integrates with this Birdguides product so you can look up reference material with a single click and can add your own recordings to the supplied material.

PC Requirements

Your PC must be running Windows XP, 2000, 2003, Vista or 7 (32 or 64-bit).
